Honey in honeycomb is the most authentic and natural process of honey itself. The honeycomb is a grouping of hexagonal wax cells made directly by bees to store and preserve both honey and pollen.
The beekeeper usually removes the comb to collect the honey, subsequently centrifuging the comb in the honey extractor.
In this case the honeycomb was placed in jars together with acacia honey so as to leave a unique and authentic flavour. A truly tasty experience!
The wax of the honeycomb, not edible and pleasant at all, can be consumed with a spoon, it can be eaten completely or if it is not particularly pleasant it can be chewed and discarded. The honeycomb wax also promotes the natural functionality of the intestine. It absolutely does not alter honey.
